GDPR Disclaimer

In light of EU Regulation 2016/679 on the Protection of Personal Data (GDPR), we have updated our Privacy Policy.
The new Privacy Policy, which you can read on this page, is provided in accordance with the aforementioned Regulation to those who access and browse the website www.mcadvisory.it (the “website” or “platform”) and explains the key points regarding how we collect data from members/users, the reasons why such data is processed, and the rights of our members/users. This Privacy Policy applies only to the mcadvisory.it domain and does not cover any other external websites that may be accessible from the platform’s pages. By accepting the Privacy Policy at the time of registration, you expressly consent to the use, storage, and disclosure of your personal data in the manner described on this page.

WHO IS THE DATA CONTROLLER?

MC Advisory CSR SB Srl is the controller of your personal data (“Mcsr” or the “controller”).

WHAT IS PERSONAL INFORMATION?

You can access certain sections of the website without revealing your identity or any other personal information, with the exception of your email address, which will be entered into the Mcsr database. If you decide to access the restricted sections and use the services provided by Mcsr (see the “Terms of Use” page for more information), you will be asked to provide additional personal data—that is, information capable of identifying, directly or indirectly, a natural person. In this case, that person is you, the individual browsing the website. Specifically, Mcsr processes the following data:

your first and last name;
your contact information (i.e., phone number and email address);
the IP address and URL used;
username and password;
your responses to questions regarding your professional activity in order to activate the requested services;
information collected through your interaction with our website, such as statistics on the number of visits, traffic to and from the site, searches performed, funds and portfolios viewed, and any portfolios uploaded;
the data you voluntarily provide in this context to use our services and subscribe to a plan (for example, tax ID number and/or VAT number).

WHAT ARE THE PURPOSES OF PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Mcsr collects your personal data for the following purposes:
Primary purpose: registration as a new member and/or user and management of the entire relationship with the data subject, as well as offering and providing the data subject with services to which they have access as a member and/or user.
Legal basis: implementation of pre-contractual measures and performance of a contract.

Additional purposes:

to customize, measure, and improve our future services, content, and advertising;
to send you surveys to help us improve our services;
to inform you about our services, send you marketing communications, updates, and promotional offers;
to process data from all users statistically, anonymously, and in aggregate form in order to provide value-added services.
Legal basis: legitimate interest.

If you send us an email, we may retain your message, your email address, and your contact information in order to respond to your inquiries.

WHO ARE THE DATA CONTROLLERS FOR YOUR DATA?

The data controller has appointed data processors (Mcsr employees) who manage your data on behalf of the data controller.

HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR DATA?

Personal data will be processed primarily using electronic or automated means, but also manually, in accordance with procedures and using tools designed to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data.

TO WHOM MAY YOUR DATA BE DISCLOSED?

Your personal data may also be disclosed to:

to all parties (including public authorities) who have access to personal data pursuant to regulatory or administrative provisions;
to companies, consultants, or professionals who may be entrusted with the installation, maintenance, updating, and, in general, management of Mcsr’s hardware and software, or whom the Company uses to provide its services;
to companies or Internet service providers responsible for sending documentation and/or informational material;
to companies responsible for processing and/or sending advertising and informational material on behalf of Mcsr;
to all public and/or private entities, natural and/or legal persons (legal, administrative, and tax consulting firms, judicial offices, Chambers of Commerce, Chambers of Labor and Labor Offices, etc.), if such disclosure is necessary or functional to the proper fulfillment of contractual obligations undertaken, as well as obligations arising from the law.
The data will not be transferred or disclosed, except in anonymous and aggregated form, for statistical or research purposes. Mcsr does not transfer or disclose your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

WHERE, HOW, AND FOR HOW LONG DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?

Your personal data will be stored on Mcsr’s servers at its hosting providers (located within the European Union) for the entire duration of the contractual relationship and, in any case, for a period of 10 years following the termination of the contract. Please be advised that if you wish to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data while contractual relationships with the data controller are in effect, the data controller will be unable to fulfill the obligations arising from the existing contract; therefore, the withdrawal of your consent to the processing of your data will result in the early termination of the contract: this decision will have no effect on services already performed by either party. Furthermore, should you request the erasure, blocking, or anonymization of your data, the data controller will be unable to contact you in any way. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we hereby inform you that—in compliance with legal obligations—the data controller may further reserve the right to retain your data if required by mandatory provisions of either national or EU law.

WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?

As a data subject, you have the right to:

access your data and request a copy of it;
request the correction or updating of your data if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
request, under certain circumstances, the erasure of data relating to you or the restriction of the processing of your data.
If you have any questions regarding privacy and the protection of your personal data, or if you wish to exercise your rights as a data subject, you may write to the data controller at the following address: Mcsr, Via Sant’Ambrogio 21, 27058 Voghera (PV), or email info@mcadvisory.it.

WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES IF YOU DO NOT CONSENT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR DATA?

Providing data for the purposes described above is voluntary but necessary for registering on the website and finalizing the subscription agreement for the services provided by Mcsr. Any refusal to provide the requested data will make it impossible to complete the registration process and to receive the services offered exclusively to users of the website’s Restricted Area.
